A Sandy Beach Right on the Tangipahoa

One of the only campgrounds in Southeast Louisiana with direct, sandy river-beach access. Spread out a blanket, wade in, or launch a kayak — the Tangipahoa River is your backyard for the day.

The kids can spend hours digging in the sand, while parents relax in the shade of ancient oaks just a few steps away. It's the kind of day that makes a Louisiana summer.

The river beach closes whenever the Tangipahoa River reaches 10 feet or higher for guest safety. Call ahead for current conditions.

Everything you need to know before you visit.

No fishing license is required to fish in our on-property 8-acre lake. It's stocked and ready to fish. Just bring your own gear — or grab a cheap rod and tackle at any local shop on your way in.

Absolutely. We encourage you to bring your own food, snacks, and coolers. There are shaded picnic areas throughout the property where you can set up for the day. Glass containers are discouraged around the beach and pool areas.

Yes. We have a designated kayak launch area where you can put in and explore the Tangipahoa River at your own pace. Please follow all posted rules and stay aware of current river conditions.

Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome in most outdoor areas. Pets are not allowed in the swimming pool, on the river beach, or inside any buildings. Please clean up after your pet and keep them under control at all times.

The river beach closes whenever the Tangipahoa River reaches 10 feet or higher for guest safety. Conditions can change quickly — please call (985) 345-9244 before you visit to confirm beach access is open.

We recommend sunscreen, hats, water shoes or sandals, swimsuits, towels, a cooler with food and drinks, fishing gear if you'd like to cast a line, and a change of clothes for the kids. Lawn chairs and blankets are great too — we have plenty of shaded spots to set up.

No reservation is required for day passes. Just show up during posted hours (9 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Sunday) and pay at the gate. For large groups, please call ahead so we can be ready for you.

Monday through Friday, your day pass grants full access to all amenities — pool, lake, beach, courts, trails, picnic areas, and kayak launch. On weekends, access is limited to the river beach and riverbank only. Other amenities are reserved for overnight guests on Saturday and Sunday.
